Laser

The Laser is the standard Squad weapon. It is activated by Mouse2 (on most systems, the right mouse button) in the 3-button mouse configuration?, and --- in the 1-button mouse configuration?.

Spiders, Spore Generators, and Soul Destroyers (and Engineers?) are immune to Lasers.

Darwinians receive Lasers once they reach Research level v3.0.

Researching Lasers increases the Laser firing range of both Squads and Darwinians.

• (no laser research) - Very short-ranged Lasers
• v1.0 Lasers - Short ranged Lasers
• v2.0 Lasers - Medium ranged Lasers
• v3.0 Lasers - Long ranged Lasers
• v4.0 Lasers - Maximum ranged Lasers
